Federal Minister Sahibzada Mahboob Sultan, Raza Nasrullah MNA and MPAs namely Samiullah Ch, Sher Akbar Khan and Rana Shahbaz Ahmad called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office and apprised him about the problems of their constituencies.

The CM assured an early solution adding that politics of chaos has no value before the journey of public service. The opposition has no agenda nor any program for the welfare of the masses, he regretted. Usman Buzdar made it clear that the people will not be deceived by the looters entering into the political arena with a falsified identity and PDM’s evil object of creating chaos in the country will not be materialised. The looters’ cabal assembled under the opposition alliance can’t deceive the people, he said. It is deplorable that the opposition tried political point-scoring to inveigle the masses, he added.

The chief minister mentioned that both PPP and PML-N raised hollow slogans and made a dacoity on the rights of the common man to fill their own coffers. Both have tarnished the respect of the vote, and become allies for the sake of personal interests. Their temporal alliance is limited to protecting personal interests only, he added. The cabal of cronies has been ousted from the politics for good, he said. Furthermore, PM Imran Khan has also driven the last nail into the coffin of hereditary politics. Imran Khan sensitized the common man to live an honourable life and took decisions in the best national interest. Along with it, the people will not reconsider this opportunist cabal, and the power-hungry opposition should read the writing on the wall, concluded the chief minister.

An international qira’at conference will also be held along with na’atia and declamation contests in educational institutions.

Along with it, short documentaries will be produced on the blessed life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the best documentary will be aired through TV channels and social media along with English and French subtitles. The winning producer will be given a cash prize and certificate, he added.

The CM maintained Pakistan wants to sensitize the global community about the ardent love and affection of the Muslims towards Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Observance of corona SOPs will be fully followed during the celebrations, he said. The CM directed the line departments to give final shape to the best arrangements as soon as possible. The representatives of information, auqaf, higher education and schools education departments apprised the participants about the arrangements.

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said 12 patients have died while 407 confirmed cases of corona have been reported during the last 24 hours while 9130 were tested during this period.

In a statement, the CM said the number of active patients has reached to 7258 while 97651 have been recovered and 2420 have died of corona out of a total of 107329 patients. The government is seriously working to overcome the second wave of the corona, he added. The elimination of this virus is not possible without public support as the number of patients is increased due to carelessness and non-observance of SOPs.
