ISLAMABAD: The Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) will launch a 3D mi
neral survey to assess metallic mi
neral reserves of iron, copper, gold, silv
er and molybdenum in potential areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
According to a report quoting official sources, the project will be completed in fo
ur years over cost of Rs 600 million.
They said the survey would be carried out at two prospective sites including Moti Jo Wandio in district Tharparkar of Sindh and Mashkichah in district Chagai of Balochistan t
o evaluate potential economic mi
neral resources.
Mining activities would start resulting in utilisation of the h
idden natural resources and enormous economic activities.
