LAHORE: Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Ijaz has announced to provide drop lanes and dedicated parking for all
educational institutions in the provincial
capital.
Addressing a special lecture at the University of Central Punjab on Tue
sday, h
e said that holding of awareness campaigns could control held manage traffic system effectively.
Besides, h
e said that licensing camps would also be established to issue driving licences to students.
The chief traffic officer added that the City Traffic Police (CTP) would help students get driving licenc
es. “We are trying our best to sensitise students to traffic rules,” he added.
Rai Ijaz said that traffic laws were also being introduced to schools syllabus to
educate students.
